Anna and I celebrated our 8th this weekend with a cruise aboard the Odyssey and dinner at Anthony's. After wedding season, we'll take a proper vacation but for now it's back to work!

Fun, sun and fireworks!

Ellie and Justin were married on a beautiful property in Graham overlooking the valley and mount Rainier. They're a gorgeous couple, the weather was amazing and we topped the day off with a grand fireworks show!

Perseids Meteor Shower!

Took a break this weekend from the busy wedding season to take my son up to the mountains to camp and watch the Perseids. It was incredible... we didn't sleep till 4:30am, just amazed by how many stars there are when you get out of the city. And more meteors than we could count! ... click the image to see one of them!

There are no windows in this church or the Liberty Theatre so not only did we mix formal and photojournalistic styles for Trista and Tom, but we got to show off our indoor flash skills as well!

Happy 4th of July!

Our family enjoyed an incredible 4th this year at one of our good friends' house. It seems all our friends showed up. We bar-b-que'd, caught up on gossip and were stunned at all the new babies in our group (the kids now far outnumber the adults). We finished the day off with smores and a fireworks show over the Des Moines Marina. If every day could be like this!

A walk in the park.

The Washington Park Arboretum is full of spectacular backdrops and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate the engagement of Jennifer and Ian. Nemo was excited too!

After 3 weeks of rain, we were happy to spend a beautiful morning celbrating the engagement of Ellie and Justin. The Pier was a perfect location, not to mention the place where Justin proposed!

A day of luxury..... and rain!

Jamie and Mike's wedding was nothing short of luxurious. A bridal suite at Hotel 1000, classic Rolls Royce from British Motor Coach and live entertainment by Jazz Unlimited made for an absolutely memorable evening. We wish them all the best!
